Product Description

High Efficiency

  • The uniform microsphere structure provides high water absorption and swelling capacity, ensuring rapid hemostasis.

  • Fast Hemostasis: With high swelling rate, 0.1 g of the product expands to over 1 mL within 30 seconds, typically reaching 1.6–1.8 mL.

  • Excellent Hemostatic Effect: The unique manufacturing process creates microspheres with rich surface folds and high absorption capacity. The absorption ratio exceeds 16×, compared to 11–12× in similar commercial products.

Safety

Derived from natural polysaccharides of plant origin, the product is non-immunogenic and biocompatible. It degrades rapidly in the body without generating acidic byproducts, causing no irritation to tissues. The microspheres are not carboxymethyl-modified, ensuring safe degradation within a short period.

Convenience

  • Suitable for various surgical applications, the powder evenly covers irregular or uneven wound surfaces.

  • Ready to use and easy to apply.

  • The fine powder ensures uniform coverage without cutting, and it does not adhere to surgical instruments or gloves.

Screen Shot 2025-10-30 at 9.45.33 PM.png

Product Description

This product is a bioabsorbable tissue protection solution formulated with carboxymethyl chitosan (derived from imported Alaskan snow crab through advanced biotechnological processes) as the main ingredient, combined with a physiologically balanced solution at a concentration of 5 mg/mL.It is a colorless, transparent, and viscous liquid that is non-irritating, non-allergenic, pyrogen-free.

Designed for abdominal and pelvic surgeries, the product is used to irrigate exposed intestines, organ surfaces, and surgical wounds. It forms a protective film to retain moisture, lubricates and shields exposed tissues, and prevents desiccation of organs and intestines during surgery. In addition, it helps remove surgical residues, maintaining a clean operative environment and reducing tissue injury caused by dryness.

Product Features

  • Safety

Manufactured using imported patented raw materials, refined by proprietary technology; non-toxic and non-immunogenic.

Packaged in dual sterile layers to ensure safety and purity.

  • Biodegradability

Under the action of biological enzymes, the product fully degrades within two weeks, being either absorbed by the body or metabolized into carbon dioxide and water.

  • Biocompatibility

Both the solution and its degradation products are non-toxic, non-irritant, and non-allergenic, showing excellent biocompatibility and safety for human tissue.

  • Versatility

Combines multiple functions in one solution — wound irrigation, tissue repair promotion, hemostasis, anti-inflammation, anti-exudation, and anti-adhesion.

  • Convenience

Can be used directly to irrigate various surgical wounds and mucosal surfaces, or applied using sterile gauze for soaking, wiping, or wet compresses.

  • Efficacy

Clinical studies and extensive medical use have demonstrated that the product is safe, effective, and free from adverse reactions.

Instructions for Use

  • Irrigation

Draw the solution with a syringe or infusion device and irrigate directly onto the surgical site or pour into a sterile basin for rinsing.

Operating Instructions

General Surgery — Conventional Open Surgery

  • After opening the abdominal cavity, pour an adequate amount of Chitin-Based Surgical Rinse solution over the tissues (covering all serosal tissues at risk of drying or damage due to exposure or contact with surgical instruments or gloves). This forms a moist protective film on the tissue surface to prevent dehydration of the organs. The amount used should be determined by the size of the wound.

  • During the operation, periodically inspect tissues that are frequently manipulated or widely exposed. Reapply the solution to moisten them if necessary.

  • Before suturing at the end of the surgery, use 100–150 ml of Chitin-Based Surgical Rinse to irrigate the organs and surgical wound. Suction out the remaining fluid to remove surgical residues.

  • When suturing the incision, apply an appropriate amount of Chitin-Based Surgical Rinse layer by layer. After suturing, wet sterile gauze with 20–30 ml of Chitin-Based Surgical Rinse and apply it to the surface of the incision as a moist dressing, then cover with sterile gauze.

Obstetrics and Gynecology — Open Pelvic Surgery

  • After opening the abdominal cavity, pour an adequate amount of Chitin Surgical Rinse irrigation solution over as much of the operative area as possible. The amount used should be determined by the wound size.

  • Reapply the solution if additional moistening is needed during the surgery.

  • Before closing the abdomen, use 100–150 ml of Chitin Surgical Rinse to irrigate the organs and surgical wound. Suction out the remaining fluid to remove surgical residues.

  • When suturing the incision, apply an appropriate amount of Chitin Surgical Rinse layer by layer. After suturing, wet sterile gauze with 20–30 ml of Chitin Surgical Rinse and apply it to the incision surface as a moist dressing, then cover with sterile gauze.
