Studies indicate that approximately 85% of battlefield fatalities result from major hemorrhage, of which at least 95% could have been prevented. In U.S. military operations, about 95% of pre-hospital deaths are caused by uncontrolled bleeding, and nearly 90% of combat-related deaths could be avoided with effective hemostasis.Similar risks also exist in everyday scenarios: traffic accidents can lead to deep trauma and rapid hemorrhagic shock; outdoor sports and industrial work frequently involve cutting or crushing injuries; even minor household incidents can pose danger. The main components are kaolin and non-woven fabric, and Type II additionally contains an X-ray detectable thread.

How it Works

Upon contact with blood, the gauze rapidly absorbs plasma, concentrating platelets and thrombin. This promotes platelet aggregation and deposition of coagulation factors, thereby accelerating the hemostatic process.

Experimental Results

Animal and clinical studies have demonstrated that this product provides safe and effective hemostasis for traumatic wounds.

In swine femoral artery bleeding, successful hemostasis was achieved within 5 minutes using the kaolin hemostatic dressing.

Instruction for Use

Clean the blood from the wound area before application.

Remove the hemostatic gauze from the package and apply directly to the bleeding site. Use sufficient gauze to fully cover the wound, then wrap and apply firm pressure until hemostasis is achieved.
